School Board Budget Workshop will be on Wednesday June 19, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Middle School High School Library.   June Board Meeting will be rescheduled from June 19, 2019 to June 26, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Middle School High School Library.

Girls Head Basketball Coach

The Athletic Department of Stephenson High School is seeking an energetic, motivated, and innovative Head Coach for their High School Girls’ Varsity Basketball team. The successful candidate will also be expected to develop and lead a basketball program for the lower and middle schools to make the transition of players to the high school seamless.  The successful candidate will have previous basketball coaching experience; preference will be given to those who have experience of the varsity or college level. Applicants must provide strong leadership, display exemplary organizational skills, sound judgement, loyalty to the current program as well as loyalty to the Stephenson Area Public School District and has strong connection in the realm of high school basketball. Provide effective leadership that will ensure a positive learning environment and will stress the importance of academic and social / emotional achievement. Demonstrate a high degree of ethics, professionalism, human relations, loyalty and be a positive role model for all students. The student-athlete shall also receive instruction and guidance that will lead to the formulation and enhancement of moral values, pride of accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline, self-confidence and good sportsmanship.
